My name is Barry Robinson and I am mad about fishing and creating lures to catch predatory fish, especially Pike. I come from a long line of Fishing enthusiasts with my Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather (pictured) all dedicated to our truly wonderful pastime.

I started fishing (as many do) on the local canals and eventually fished lots of matches up to the age of around 25. I still go on the canals now and then but it was in my mid 20’s that I really got the Pike fishing bug, especially lure fishing with big lures.

I managed to catch the back end of the Jerkbait boom in the Uk and was fascinated by these bright, often large wooden and soft plastic lures. I saved up for the gear required to throw these heavy lures and went on to catch a few fish. 

As a keen lure angler it was only a matter of time before i started designing & making my own lures

I started to play around with wood, making a few of my own which were often badly made and poorly painted. I caught fish though and that was it, i was hooked.

Skip forward quite a few years later and i have improved (hopefully) since those early days, developing a range of lures that fit my fishing style perfectly. I only sell lures that i use myself and are 100% happy with. 

I use only the highest quality materials and components, each model has been tested for countless hours and only lures that consistently catch fish in a variety of waters are sold. Each lure also gets 4 coats of very tough epoxy to extend the life of the lure.
